I own an independent garage in the Chicago area. This morning we had a customer who was moving to Colorado, who's car we had just serviced, have a problem as they arrived in Des Moines for the night. Having met Steve in the past at industry events I called his shop right away, John, the service advisor took control of the situation, got my customers issues resolved and was very fair and professional the entire time. As a shop owner I can tell the difference from a professional operation and a not so professional one. Beckley Imports is the place you want to go if you're in Des Moines.

I was having transmission problems and they took a look at my car. Beckley's was super honest about what they could/couldn't do and made sure I understood before moving forward with anything. They treated me like I was a 25-year customer even though it was my first time going there. I highly recommend them! Great customer service.

Very honest and trustworthy. They were able to detect problems in my BMW accurately and efficiently. They have excellent customer service and they also offer shuttle service which is amazing. This is my mechanic from now on and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Nicest people ever. I had an issue that was clearly the fault of the last mechanic that I had worked on my car, and these guys fixed it quickly and wouldn't even let me pay for it. I'm thankful I found a nice place I can go to in the future. Highly recommend.

I'm surprised I had not yet put up a review for Beckley. I've been taking my cars there for about 5 years now. I got fed up with trying to schedule appointments with one of the European luxury dealership service departments, and found Beckley to be so much easier to work with... and they are cheaper as well. Only downside is they cannot perform some jobs such as warranty work, and as I recently learned in a painful way when my Mercedes ignition had a problem, I had to take that to the dealership given some sort of computer coding and "proprietary" stuff that the dealership could only do... but that experience only proved to me again that working with Beckley is a no-brainer. One example of why I take my cars there without hesitation: At least 2-3 times I've taken a vehicle in and said "you know, I think we might be close on needing to do ABC or XYZ", and they say "ok, no problem, we will take a look at that and let you know"... they call me later and say "we looked and you don't need to do that yet, ABC or XYZ doesn't appear to be necessary right now." How many auto service or auto repair places will be that honest with you? In my experience, which includes mostly dealerships and the occasional independent shop, very few.
