I am a forty-five year customer of BECKLEY Automotive Services. I have been consistently well-served, educated, and overall well-treated for the service on my mostly German cars, but a Jeep Grand Cherokee and Jaguar CJ6 tossed in along the way. The Beckley team is constantly updating their technology, mechanics’ training, in-house data base, and most importantly, the front desk and staff behind the scenes are top notch . . . the best! They do an outstanding job of bridging the divide between what’s going on out in the service shop with what’s important to the owners at the front desk And frankly, the second part of that divide is what is so often missing in the automobile repair arena. Their rates reflect the constant reinvestment in both staff education and training, and overall maintenance of operations and maintains the best staff anywhere! Steve Beckley is still watching over the firm, as he has been for around 50 years. As most of you know, everything flows from the top in terms of overall mission, values, priorities, and on occasion, decades of experience to guide the diagnoses of complex problems (yes, even the refined machines of today have them). No one I know likes spending money on car repairs, but this company has always made certain my money has been well spent, and thoroughly explained (beginning, middle and end of the procedures). And by the way, poor quality automobile service is easily the most expensive. One last comment: We all know that female car owners, especially singles, are too often intimidated (and often should be!) about the whole experience of getting their cars repaired, occasionally not feeling confidant to explain why they need service and what the symptoms are. NOT to worry! The front desk recognizes this is the most critical aspect of developing solid and lasting relationships with customers, and you will be pleased (and perhaps surprised) with their listening and responding process! Best I have experienced anywhere, and I’m 75 and a former business owner, so you know I‘ve got some perspective.
