Had an alternator replaced which failed after less than 6000 miles. They had suggested going with the "better quality" alternator which turned out to be a remanufactured one and since I'm outside of the 2 year warranty they offer, the part did not have any other warranty option and their suppliers did not have any available.

I'm sorry your Bosch remanufactured alternator failed 6 months after the manufacturers 24 month warranty period. However we do not have any control over what their warranty period is and obviously as a small business we can not afford to cover everything for them.
